International cooperation
Danish Agency for Libaries and Media sets great store by international cooperation and plays an active role in the work of a number of international organisations as well as participating in several networks where dialogue and cooperation can provide inspiration for continuous development of the Danish library system - i.e. IFLA, LIBER, NORON, NAPLE.
The Agency arranges a number of study visits for foreign librarians each year. The director general and members of staff are regularly invited to take part in international conferences and present specific experiences from the Danish library world.
